5 Minutes Hummus With Pomegranate
Given its popularity, I believe you know what hummus is made from. Hummus is related to the Arabic word for chickpea – so the key ingredient is right there in the name!

- 1 tin Chickpeas (drained)
- ⅓ cup Tahini
- ⅓ cup Olive oil
- 3 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 Garlic cloves
- ¼ cup Pomegranate
- 2 tbsp Sweet paprika (plus extra for serving)
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Black pepper
- Fresh chopped parsley
Drain the chickpeas and rinse thoroughly.
Place all ingredients (except the pomegranate) into a food processor and pulse until smooth and creamy. Spoon into a bowl, drizzle with a little more olive oil and dust with sweet paprika.
Garnish with pomegranate and fresh chopped parsley.
Serve with crudites (carrots, cucumbers, red pepper or any other vegetables of your choice)
