Fancy a festive drink? Then this Spiced Orange Christmas Whisky Ginger Ale Cocktail could be your perfect Christmas choice. A single malt scotch whisky and ginger ale combined in this fabulous short cocktail mixed with orange juice. In addition, you can garnish the rim of the glass with cinnamon sugar for that extra spiced flavour. And after that add dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks to achieve that festive look.

The Whisky
This elegant, floral spirit is the real backbone of the Glenmorangie range. The Glenmorangie 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is produced by marrying the delicate spirit that emerges from Scotland’s tallest stills, with first and second fill American white oak casks.
The scent of citrus and ripening peaches is softened by the vanilla, detected on the tongue, with a clean and salving aftertaste hints of orange.
The Recipe
To make this festive cocktail, firstly start by sprinkling 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar over the surface of a small plate or saucer. Secondly, rub one wedge of orange along the rim of 2 tumblers and then dip it into the sugar so that the entire rim is covered.
Thirdly, in a shaker mix the whisky, ginger ale and orange juice and stir well. Pour over ice into the tumbler glasses. Garnish with dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks. Cheers!
Variation
In case you only fancy the Classic Whisky Ginger Ale, then omit the fresh orange juice, but keep the dried orange slices and cinnamon sticks garnish.

- 100 ml Glenmorangie 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
- 200 ml Ginger Ale
- Juice of 1 orange
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon sugar
- 4 Cinnamon sticks
- 4 Dried orange slices
- 7-8 Ice cubes
